Lake States Grouse Collaborators
Several grouse organizations in the Great Lakes Region have joined forces to better collaborate on mutual interests. Generally, these groups are advocates for Greater Prairie-chicken, Sharp-tailed Grouse and Ruffed Grouse. The Grouse Partnership is proud to be among the collaborators.
Below is a list of some of the collaborators.
In 1973 out of concern for the plight of the prairie chicken grew the Minnesota Prairie Chicken Society, with its primary goal of increasing public awareness of prairie chickens and their grassland habitat.
MSGS is “dedicated to the management and restoration of sharptails in
Minnesota for hunters and non-hunters” and works hard towards that goal.
We are a group of people from diverse backgrounds with the common goal of protecting and managing the Sharp-tailed Grouse population in Wisconsin.
