Why:   Festival for Grouse and Grouse Habitat Conservation

Where:  Lindy Ross Elementary School, Dubois, Idaho

            All Week:  Photoblinds by reservation on a first come, first served basis

Thursday and Friday:  Two-day nature photography and photo-editing workshop. For photography class registration and further information go to:

Friday Evening Social

5:00 pm  Doors open.

- Silent Auction Starts.

- Art Display by area artists

- Poster Displays from various agencies

- Purchase Raffle Tickets

- Sloppy joe dinner

- Browse local vendors’ wares

- Visit with fellow sage grouse and conservation enthusiasts

- Meet the Dubois Grouse Days Committee and pick up registration packets

            Saturday

5:00 am Wake up coffee & doughnuts

5:30 am  Bus for Lek Trip #2 (East of Dubois) departs.

6:00 am Field trips to view grouse, followed by hearty Saturday Brunch

11:00 am- 4:00 pm  Kids Day Activities

- Furs and Skulls display of local wildlife

- Live Falconry Demonstration

- Games, and much more!

Wildlife Art Display by area artists

Noon – 2:00 Presentations by sage grouse and conservation experts

2:00-4:00 pm Tour to view local sage grouse habitat projects

1:00 – 4:30 Birding Tour @ Camas National Wildlife Refuge

5:00 pm Banquet with Roast Beef Dinner and all the trimmings,

Presentations about Sage Grouse and Sage Brush Ecosystems,

Raffle, Silent Auction & Special DGD Quilt Raffle
