Nature Photography and Photo Editing Workshop

 

What:  Two days of outdoor photography and photo editing with professional wildlife photographer Tim Sommers (http://www.digitalrailroad.net/photoman4474/Default.aspx).

When:  Thursday and Friday, April 10 and 11, 2008

Where: Dubois, Idaho – in the high sagebrush country of the Upper Snake River Plain.

Fee:  $150 (includes a $50 contribution to Dubois Grouse Days).

Course Description:  Mornings will be spent in the blind, with Tim providing individual guidance on how to take the best photographs of displaying sage grouse and the wide open habitat of the Upper Snake River Plain.   Afternoons will be critiques of photos, editing tips, how to get the better pictures out of your camera. Topics include:

 

  • Composition
  • Lighting
  • Camera Settings
  • What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?
  • How to make a good photograph a great one
  • Individual help with individual issues
  • Managing your photograph library

 

NOTE:  At least 20 students must be registered and paid by April 3, 2008 to guarantee the workshop.
